About Us

Who We Are

Archery Australia is the national sporting organisation and governing body for archery in Australia, recognised by World Archery as the sole authority for the sport in our country. As a not-for-profit, membership-based organisation, we exist to create opportunities for Australians of all ages, abilities, and ambitions to discover and thrive in archery. Whether for fun, focus, or high-performance competition our mission is to lead and support the archery community to access, enjoy, contribute to and succeed across all levels of sport.

We lead and advocate for the structure, safety, unity and inclusiveness which underpins the sport. This includes integrity, standardised rules and policies; pathways to train and perform; resources and training for coaches and officials and recognition for the people who bring archery to life. Working in partnership with Recognised Governing Bodies (RGBs), clubs, coaches, officials, volunteers, and communities, we ensure archery is accessible, inclusive, and sustainable at every level.

Archery Australia exist to ensure Archery is a sport for all, for life. We encourage participation at every stage, support talent to reach the world stage, and invest in the environments and people that make progress possible. We’re committed to collaboration, transparency, and respect, while celebrating the contributions and achievements of those who give their time and energy to grow the sport together.
